Manipal: Send-off to Madhavakrapa students

Manipal, 05 April 2012: The send-off ceremony for the 10th standard students of Madhavakrapa High School was held. Manipal University Vice Chancellor Dr. H. S. Ballal arrived as the Chief Guest and inaugurated the program. Speaking on the occasion he said that the situation of the children of our country is not like the children of the foreign countries. The children here receive care and guidance from the parents, so the children must remember this and respect and care for their elders, he said.

Students who scored highest marks in the SSLC examinations of the previous year were honoured on this occasion. On behalf of the teachers Jyothi Santhosh, on behalf of the students Subhash Nayak and on behalf of the parents Dr. Sudhakara G. spoke. Shashikala Rajavarma welcomed the guests and the gathering. Shyamala Prasad proposed vote of thanks. Principal Jessy Andrews, Education Head Dr. Kusum were present. Master Akash compeered the program.
