Katpadi SVS PU College Old Students to celebrate Golden Jubilee

Katpadi, 09 May 2013: The Golden Jubilee celebrations of Katpadi S.V.S. College Old Students Association will be held from 10th to 12th May 2013 at the Ramachandra Shenoy Memorial stage of the College. The programs shall begin on May 10 in the morning at 9.30 am by hoisting the flag by Old Students Association President Prem Kumar.

 

In the evening at 5.00 pm the guests will be brought from the Katpadi bus stand to the College stage in a grand procession. The inauguration of the Golden Jubilee program will be conducted at 7.30 pm. Katpadi S.V.S. Group of Education former Correspondent Sarvotham Kamath shall preside over the program.

 

The inauguration will be conducted by retired Lokayukta and Supreme Court Judge N. Santhosh Hegde. The entertainment programs will commence from evening at 6.30 pm by the students. In the night at 8.30 pm dance and variety programs will be performed by the old students. At 9.00 Tulu drama ‘Undenchina ?’ will be played.

S.V.S. Pre University College, Katpadi (Old Students to celebrate Golden Jubilee 10 to 12 May 2013)

 

On May 11 in the evening the Golden celebrations will be held. The program will be presided over by Katpadi S.V.S. Group of Education former Correspondent P. Rabindra Nayak. During night at 8.30 pm Bhavish Mangalore shall play the drums. At 9.00 pm Symphony Beats musical concert by Anil Rao and team will be performed.

 

On May 12 in the evening at 7.00 pm concluding program will be held. Katpadi S.V.S. College Correspondent Ratnakar Kini, Mangalore S.C.D.C.C. Bank President M.N. Rajendra Kumar, Katil Durga Parameshwari First Grade College Principal Prof. Balakrishna Shetty, S.V.S. PU College Principal Dayananda Pai shall participate in the program.

 

During the night from 8.00 pm to 9.30 pm old students shall play Veeramani Kalaga Yakshagana. At night 9.30 pm Mega Cultural Dhamaka Golden Fair Award program will be conducted.

 

On the occasion of the cultural celebration on May 10 morning from 10.30 am cooking competition without fire ‘Attil – 2013’, vegetable carving and demonstration will be held.

 

On May 11 morning from 10.00 am for men: fashion show, hair style competition, tattoo show and for women: fashion show, hair style competition, tattoo competition, make up competition, rangolli competition will be held.

 

On May 12 from 10.00 am open fancy dress competition, entertainment sports will be held. There will be open singing competition (individual and group) from May 10, said Golden Jubilee Committee.
